1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using The Collectors Garage, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when registering
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • One account per person — no multi-accounting

3. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the images you upload. By uploading content, you grant The Collectors Garage a non-exclusive license to display, process, and store your content for the purpose of providing the service.

AI-generated data (identifications, descriptions, pricing estimates) is provided as-is and should not be considered authoritative for valuation or authentication purposes.

4. Trading Disclaimer

The Collectors Garage provides tools to facilitate trades between collectors. We are not a party to any trade and do not guarantee the condition, authenticity, or value of any items traded. All trades are conducted at your own risk.

Estimated values shown on the platform are AI-generated approximations and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the platform
  • Use the platform for spam or commercial solicitation
  • Circumvent rate limits or abuse API endpoints

6. Limitation of Liability

The Collectors Garage is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to data loss, trade disputes, or inaccurate AI identifications.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Trademarks

The Collectors Garage is an independent, fan-built platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mattel, Inc. Hot Wheels™, Red Line Club™, and related names, logos, and product designs are trademarks of Mattel, Inc., used here only to describe the physical collectibles our users catalog.

10. Payments & Virtual Items

The platform is free and processes no payments. Trades arranged here are agreements between collectors — any cash component recorded on a trade is for your own bookkeeping, and settling it happens entirely outside the platform, at your own risk.

XP, season miles, achievements, badges, themes, and other cosmetics are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be sold or exchanged for currency, and we may adjust them to correct errors or abuse.
